Our Impact
Over the past 15 years we have seen our children become stronger, proud and deadly. We know their future, and the future for their children's children is safe, having created programs and ways of being and teaching over many years. Taking a holistic, intergenerational and strength-based approach, our programs respond to the challenges young people often face in the mainstream education system.
We invite you to support us achieve our vision!
Nalderun’s vision is to walk together as equals towards a future where local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are connected to Country and Culture, and are strong, proud, and empowered.
We are an Aboriginal run and led not-for-profit organisation, a registered Charity with Deductible Gift Recipient status. All donations are tax deductible.
Our Learning Way
Nalderun came about through the work and legacy of Uncle Brien Nelson and Aunty Julie McHale, who believed that sharing is the way forward for everyone.
At Nalderun, we contribute to systems change by supporting and training teachers, local schools and local leaders with our ways of teaching and curriculum that follow our protocols.

Our Partners & Supporters
Me-Mandook Galk Bush Tucker Place is a First Nations youth-led enterprise of Nalderun. We sow and grow a variety of bush tucker plants that are suited to grow on Djaara Country.
With the support of many community supporters from near and far, in 2021 Nalderun bought back the land next to Me-Mandook Galk, the site of the incredible Grandmother Ancestor tree in Chewton.
All proceeds from beanie sales go directly back into our youth programs.
